Passive Immunity

Description:

Passive immunity refers to the temporary protection against a particular disease or toxin, obtained from another individual or organism's antibodies. Unlike active immunity, which is achieved through the production of antibodies by an individual's own immune system, passive immunity provides immediate but temporary protection.
